Our client approached us with a clear objective: to replace an outdated retail shop front with a modern solution that was secure, aesthetically appealing, and thermally efficient. Additionally, the new entrance needed to comply with all safety standards and be easily accessible for everyone, including those with disabilities.

The existing frontage was no longer fit for purpose. It lacked visual appeal, struggled with temperature retention, and did not offer the level of accessibility or safety now expected from modern retail premises. The client required a solution that would:

Our Solution
We proposed and installed a robust aluminium shop front system designed to house large double-glazed glass panels. This gave the frontage a clean, bright look while providing excellent acoustic insulation from the nearby busy road. Key features included:

Automatic Swing Door Operator: Enables effortless access for all users. It functions as a manual door for the able-bodied and offers automated entry for disabled users via an external push pad.
Advanced Safety Sensors: Full motion and presence sensors ensure safe, reliable door operation and comfortable access for all.
Sleek Grey Finish: The frame was powder-coated in a popular gloss grey, providing a modern, high-end appearance that complements the overall aesthetic of the premises.
