An excellent opportunity to be part of a small family run company. This role is perfect for someone who is looking to progress in the workplace and learn! This successful company manufacture, supply and install Automatic Doors and Drive Thru windows as well as bespoke doors across the UK. Due to company growth we are now seeking to recruit a new team member with an emphasis on door related work to join the team. The job is based in Swanley, Kent however our work takes us nationwide so there is an element of early or late finishes and night work.
Primarily we will use the skills you have and apply them to the jobs we have however, as you progress we will provide training for aluminium and timber fire doors to enable you to work on these either on your own or in a team where applicable.
– We manufacture, install, service, repair and maintain automatic, aluminium and fire doors as well as the occasional repairs and servicing to steel doors. Your training will give you experience with all of these aspects.
– Workshop and field-based role
– Working on a variety of specialist automatic equipment as well as some carpentry, electrical and building work
– There will be occasional times when you may be required to work away from home, travel long distances and stay away overnight. Overtime is paid and all expenses will be covered.
– We also provide services to high street stores; you will be required to attend additional training courses relating to working on these premises. (Costs covered by us).
– Good knowledge of site health and safety and adheres to all safety guidelines while on the job site
– Experience with hand and power tools including; all types of drill including impact and SDS, skill saw, jig saw, chisels etc
– CSCS card
– Excellent communication skills and a good understanding of English
– Must be hard working and willing to learn
– Full driving licence and own transport to get to the workshop. The company vehicles can be used during working shifts
– Must have an understanding of paperwork, clear communication skills, IT and be willing to attend in house training as well as experience using iPads – these are used for issuing work, emails and electronic call forms
– Must be able to submit presentable and accurate paperwork as per requirements of the contract to establish works carried out and costing information to be obtained
– It is essential that you work to high standards, are polite, trustworthy and understand the need to clean up at the end of every day
– Complete work to a high level of standard
– Physical strength and stamina
– Flexible working – we try to carry out most work during office/ daytime hours, but there is a need to attend callouts at all times of the day. Some sites are best attended late at night or early mornings as well, especially if they are a very busy entrance
– Friendly Team
– Overtime paid for out of hours
– Location in busy town centre
– Training provided for the relevant areas of work
– Tools provided
– Salary is negotiable depending upon skills and experience
There is a trial period/ probation period, of six months with regular assessments and training, there is plenty of training given for the right candidate and good opportunities to grow and expand into management. References will be required. DBS check and DVLA checks will be carried out.

Due to company growth we are now seeking to recruit a new team member with an emphasis on window film related work to join the team. The job is based in Swanley, Kent however our work takes us nationwide so there is an element of early or late finishes and night work.
– Work with other installers to complete projects on time involving installing graphics and window film to glazing
– Help the owner of the business to maintain good professional work ethic for the company
– Respectable to other staff and clients/customers at all times, with presentable appearance and demeanor
– Additional activities involving business generation
– Good knowledge of site health and safety and adheres to all safety guidelines while on the job site
– CSCS card (can be arranged if not currently held)
– Excellent communication skills and a good understanding of English
– Must be hard working and willing to learn
