The 18mm Pyrostop 30-20 is a premium fire-resistant glass certified to fire-resistance class EI30, ensuring 30 minutes of protection against flames, smoke, and heat. Its advanced intumescent interlayers expand under high temperatures, creating an opaque barrier that prevents heat transfer while maintaining the structural integrity of the glass.
This innovative design meets stringent European fire safety standards (EN 13501-2), making it an ideal choice for applications where visibility and fire safety are crucial. With excellent thermal insulation and optical clarity, Pyrostop 30-20 offers reliable performance for commercial and public spaces requiring dependable fire protection.
EI30 indicates that the window provides 30 minutes of fire resistance, maintaining both integrity (E) to prevent flames and smoke from passing through and insulation (I) to limit heat transfer to the non-fire side.
