INSURANCE BACKED GUARENTEE (IBG)
When you buy a product from us, we want you to feel confident that you have purchased the best quality product that will last.
That’s why we are proud to be accepted as members of the IWA Deposit and Guarantee Protection (IBG) in compliance with FENSA.
We have satisfied the underwriters’ vetting criteria and on completion of an installation we are able to provide our customers with an IBG.
It is a requirement that all competent person self-certification schemes “must arrange to provide customers with appropriate financial protection to put work to dwellings right, which is non-compliant with the building regulations, where the installer cannot do so.”
If any contractor/ supplier employed by the customer ceases to trade, an Insurance Backed Guarantee (IBG) will protect their investment.
Our IBG certificate extends to provide not only the mandatory cover but includes:
Protection up to 10 years
Fully transferable to the new home owner (subject to the T&C’s of the original installers guarantees)
Covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)
Cover will only apply in the event of financial failure of our company.
It is a requirement that a member who takes a deposit from their customer must issue a deposit protection certificate.
If you take out deposit protection with us, IWA protect the deposit from the moment it’s paid and the Deposit Protection certificate is issued.
