Tasked with enhancing the visitor experience at the main entrance reception area of a modern and thriving school, we recognised the need for a comprehensive overhaul. The existing structure, characterised by its dated appearance and limited accessibility, posed significant challenges in accomodating the needs of both visitors and staff. Accessibility issues, security concerns, and an overall lack of user-friendliness underscored the imperative for a tailored solution.

In response, we conceptualised a purpose-made, custom-built aluminium porch system designed to modernise and streamline the entrance experience. Manufactured off-site for efficiency, the contemporary design incorporated a modern composite roof tile system, enhancing both aesthetic appeal and structural integrity. Central to the solution was the integration of full commercial-grade double glazed units, ensuring optimal insulation and energy efficiency. Moreover, to address accessibility requirements, we installed a commercial-grade automatic entrance swing door system, providing seamless disabled access while enhancing user-friendliness for all visitors and staff.

Beyond functionality, aesthetics played a pivotal role in our design approach. We provided a complete fit-out service, meticulously attending to every detail from floors to ceilings. The incorporation of white rock wall cladding not only imparted a sleek and stylish look but also ensured a low-maintenance and hygienic environment – an essential consideration for high-traffic areas like school entrances. By seamlessly integrating functionality with contemporary design elements, we successfully transformed the school’s main entrance into a welcoming and inclusive space that embodied both practicality and style.
